　最も成功する確率が高いと言われるアクセラレータのY Combinatorが、今後経済環境の不確実性が高まるとして、ファンダーたちに「最悪の事態に備える」ように助言したというニュースが気になりました。パンデミックも乗り越えて10年以上続いたスタートアップ投資の活況に転機が来るのか注視したいと思います。

　テクノロジーとしては、自律運転の試験運転範囲が大きく広がってきました。自家用車だけでなく、商用トラックでの実証も広がっています。2016年頃には5年もすれば実用化されていると楽観的な見通しもありました。現実はそこまで簡単ではなかった訳ですが、着実に前に進んでいます。

The news that Y Combinator, the accelerator with the highest probability of success, has advised funders to "prepare for the worst" as uncertainty in the economic environment will increase. We will be watching closely to see if there will be a turning point in the boom in startup investment that has been going on for more than a decade, even surviving a pandemic.

As for technology, the scope of autonomous driving trials has expanded greatly. Around 2016, there was optimism that autonomous driving would be available in five years. The reality is that it has not been that easy, but we are steadily moving forward.
