winyy Issue #94

博士論文提出のため、しばらくお休みを頂いてしまい失礼しました。無事提出しましたので、winyyを再開させて頂きます。

この数週間の間に、いろいろな事が起きました。一番大きなニュースはElon MuskによるTwitter買収でしょう。彼が言うところの言論の自由のために、440億ドルを投資するというスケールもさることながら、インフラと言っても過言ではないSNSをElon Muskがどうしていくのか、議会・政府が介入してくるのか、しばらく目が離せません。加えて、このwinyyが使っているニュースレターサービスRevueはTwitter社のサービスなので、このwinyyも間接的に影響を受けるのではないかと気になります。

テックジャイアントの第1四半期決算、第1四半期の全米のスタートアップ投資総額が発表されましたが、いずれも減益・総額減となり、コロナからの回復とインフレ加速と共に、潮目に来ているのか気になるところです。

I apologize for taking a break for a while to submit my doctoral dissertation. Now that I have submitted it successfully, I will resume this winyy.

A lot has happened in the past few weeks. The biggest news is probably Elon Musk's acquisition of Twitter. Aside from the scale of the $44 billion investment in what he calls free speech, we will be keeping a close eye on what Elon Musk will do with the social networking site, which is not too much of an infrastructure, and whether Congress or the government will intervene. In addition, I am concerned that this winyy might also be indirectly affected by Revue, the newsletter service this winyy uses, since it is a service of Twitter.

Tech Giant's first quarter results and total startup investment in the U.S. for the first quarter have been released, both showing a decrease in profits and total investment, and along with the recovery from the pandemic and accelerating inflation, we are wondering if the tide is turning.

The most read news last week was "NTT DATA Acquires Vectorform to Expand its Digital Strategy, Innovation and Design Thinking Capabilities."
