本年もよろしくお願い致します！

オミクロン株の感染急拡大の影響で、直前になってCES 2022への物理的な出展を取りやめる大手企業が多くあり心配しましたが、ハイブリッドで無事開催され、私自身は参加してきました。

参加者は4.5万人と、パンデミック前の2020年の17万人と比べると1/4に留まり、展示スペースも急なキャンセルで空白エリアが目立ちましたが、全般的にスタートアップ企業が元気で、イノベーションを求めるコアな参加者が集まったという感じで、報道では分からない熱気が伝わってきました。製品・サービスを世に問う場、オープンイノベーションの場、としてCESの重要さが再確認されたように思います。

CES2022に関連する記事を多く取り上げましたので、まとめ記事的に読んでもらえればと思います。

Due to the rapid spread of the Omicron strain, many major companies cancelled their physical participation in CES 2022 at the last minute, which worried me, but the event was successfully held as a hybrid, and I myself attended.

The number of participants was 45,000, which was only a quarter of the 170,000 who attended in 2020 before the pandemic, and there were many empty areas in the exhibition space due to sudden cancellations. The enthusiasm was palpable. I think the importance of CES as a place to introduce products and services to the world and as a place for open innovation was reconfirmed.

I have covered many articles related to CES2022, so I hope you will read them as a summary article.
